For instance, mondo turbos are probably best suited for "kick it from 60" racing, but, in all fairness, there just isn't a good correlation between people putting on huge turbos and consequently running good et's at a real drag strip. In a manual trans car, also realize that you'll have to sidestep the clutch at 5 grand with huge turbos to overcome the lag and get a decent launch. RSR
